Today we were very pleased to deliver a wonderful total of forty five shoeboxes which are now wending their way to Swaziland in Africa. Many thanks to all our contributors on managing to increase our contribution once again. This has now risen to a grand total of fifty boxes in all.
A presentation service led by Peter Tonks used the theme of fishing for men to illustrate how Jesus taught the disciples (and us) to spread the word. Our JMA collectors have raised a smashing £122.82. Harriet & James will be collecting their first badge and ribbon. Well done to Kieran, Ella & Sophie, Xavier & Ruby, Cameron, Frank, Noah and James who will receive certificates and badges. Our newest JMA supporter, Charlotte, will be receiving a collection box and prayer card.
Thanks must go to all Mum's and Dad's as well as the families for generously supporting the children!
Have some sympathy for our treasurer who will be struggling to the bank with the weighty bag of money. (10Kg of coppers)
