A busy morning with over 30 present with much talk of the recent New Year and Christmas festivities. Another attraction for many was the chance to hold two week old Ruby Elizabeth who was attending the first of many coffee mornings. Mummy certainly did not have tired arms by the close! Jack regaled us with his usual humour slot reading us a rather tongue in check advert for a reitrement home he had found along with a clever old farmer who kept a pond. When he found a bunch of young ladies skinny dipping in the pond he was quick witted enough to claim he had come to the pond to feed his aligator which had the desired result! The raffle was well supported raising £75 for Action in Children.
Whitacre Congregation is a vibrant mix of young and old who enjoy meeting for Sunday worship. Do come and join us.
